Illinois State House District 66 issued the following announcement on Jan. 27
State Representative Allen Skillicorn announces the 66th District recipients of grants and the Build Illinois Bond Fund for local projects.
The Village of Algonquin and Dundee Township Park District received grants for local park projects. These grants help communities acquire open space and develop and improve recreational facilities and are funded through the state’s Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) program, administered by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). The OSLAD program can provide up to one-half of a project’s funds.
