City of Geneva Cultural Arts Commission met April 2.

1. Call to Order:
Mr. Vetang called the meeting to order at 7:07pm.
2. Amendments to Agenda
Amend January 5, 2016 to November 3, 2016 under minutes.
3. Approve Minutes – February 2, 2017
Motion to approve the February 2, 2017 minutes was made by Ms. Hill and seconded by Ms.
Tkach.
Motion passed.
4. Review Financial Reports – February 2017
Financials were reviewed and accepted.
5. Approve Updated Budget for 2017-18
Discussed, reviewed, and updated budget
Motion to approve the amended budget was made by Ms. Schmuckal and seconded by
Ms. Monaco.
Motion passed.

a. Art Affair Nov 10, 2017 Alexia/Trish
This event will be held at the Geneva Golf Club

b. Summer Series Carolyn/Tim
Mr. Vetang reported that Summer Series still needs a chairperson
Ms. Hill is working on the performers
c. Business Plan - Doug

d. Film Festival March 2018 - Tim
Mr. Vetang reported:
The Film Festival committee working on the 10th Anniversary event.
e. Foundation Update – Kent

f. GGAG – Tim
Mr. Vetang reported that the GGAG and City are discussing issues as to the future of the
GGAG.
g. Commissioner Comments & Events
Ms. Schmuckal reported that she has received art work from the high school students.
