Water Treatment Plant Path Relocation: John (and anyone else) will go to COW meeting on April 11th to request path to be relocated along the river. Developer (Trotter) says it will be expensive and will need a canilever and fence needs to be moved. We should request a private engineer to give another opinion.

Yellow Brick Road: Lucy Thelin Atac asked us to set up a time to ride a proposed trail.

Recommended Routes and signage for Spring 2017: John shared maps with recommended signage and all agreed on what to present to the city. Changes include:

• Shift lane from Houston to McKee

• Sign on Prairie, not Van Buren

• Pine will connect to Fermi

• Good routes determined in all quadrants except SE

• We will ask school permission to put bike route signage on BHS property

• State – request flashing signed crossing

• Prairie should be bike route; 1 bike lane in each direction (shared with parking)

• Lathem ties to bike path; would like to tie it to Raddant with easement

• Webster and Laurel: Need signage and need to connect to trail

• Pine: need sign to Fermi

• Concern for safety if use Hart or Raddant as bike route

MAY 22, 4pm-6pm: Meet at John Gamble’s to do bike ride around town to review recommendations for bike signage.

WellBatavia on Saturday, June 3

8:30am-2:00pm – WellBatavia -Amy registered the BBC for a booth in the fitness village and has 3 volunteers so far. Let Amy know if you can help and need to find out if we can have trailer there. John G, Dave and Scott all said yes. Scott will lead out the 5K run!!!

Celebration of bike’s 200 years: Sammi and Greg King suggested we celebrate the bike’s invention 200 years ago. Joanne sent info to Batavia Main Street and Amy will follow up with them. Amy will get info on website. Suggested we promote this during construction downtown with signage on River Street, and possibly at Oktoberfest (but already know too many other activities are already planned).

Bike Ed Week/Bike Rodeo/Bike to School Day- See separate attached schedule

• Bike Ed Week: May 1-5; Rodeo , Saturday May 6. Bike to School Day: May 10th
