Algonquin trustees consider plan to seek federal aid for bike-lane project

The Algonquin Village Board will consider applying for federal grant funding for the Main Street Bike Lane project, during its next meeting 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at 2200 Harnish Drive.

(1) Approving an Ordinance Establishing Prevailing Wage Rates for the Village of Algonquin

(2) Approving an Ordinance Declaring Certain Items as Surplus

(1) Approve and Authorize Agreement with Copenhaver Construction for the Surrey Lane Drainage Project in

the amount of $1,369,732.50

(2) Approving and Authorizing a Purchase Agreement with Compass Minerals America for the Purchase of

Rock Salt in the amount of $69.84 per ton

(3) Approving and Authorizing the Application for Federal Grant Funding through the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program for the Main Street Bike Lane

(4) Approving and Authorizing the Application for Federal Grant Funding through the Illinois Transportation

Enhancement Program for the Downtown Streetscape Project

(5) Approving and Authorizing a Road Closure of Route 62 for Founders’ Days Parade, July 30, 2016
