Algonquin commission to hold hearings on proposed Old Town upgrades
The Algonquin Historic Commission will hold public hearings on proposed improvements to Old Town District during its next meeting 7 p.m. Wednesday in Historic Village Hall, 2 S. Main St.
The Algonquin Historic Commission fosters research, development and preservation of the village's history for current and future generations. Commission meetings and workshops are held at Historic Village Hall, 2 S. Main St.

Workshops will focus on duties, i.e. filing, sorting research, accessioning, and working on
Visitors are encouraged to attend these workshops to experience our local history “Hands On”
researching our past.
