State Senator Don DeWitte (R-St. Charles) will host a Senior Expo on Tuesday, September 16 in St. Charles, partnering with nearly 50 agencies that focus on senior needs. The event is scheduled from 10:00 AM to noon at the Pottawatomie Community Center, located at 8 North Avenue.

Admission to the expo is free and refreshments will be provided.

“We are bringing together close to 50 agencies and organizations that specialize in the needs of seniors, and attendees will be able to collect useful information while visiting the booths,” said DeWitte. “I would encourage all seniors and their families to stop by this comprehensive event.”

The expo will offer a range of services for seniors, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol checks, BMI screenings, diabetes information and glucose screenings. Walgreens will provide vaccinations at the event. Other services include IPASS transponder updates, ICASH/unclaimed property searches, and transportation information from PACE and RTA.

“Hosting the Senior Expo is a wonderful way to connect with our senior community and provide them with essential services and information,” added DeWitte. “I look forward to seeing everyone and making this a successful event.”

DeWitte was elected as a Republican to represent Illinois’ 33rd Senate District in 2018, succeeding Karen McConnaughay.
