Ugaste said, “I enjoyed participating in a legislative panel last Friday hosted by the Schaumburg Business Association, Village of Schaumburg, and the Daily Herald. The bipartisan discussion centered around business, the state budget, and the Chicago Bears. We had a great discussion with several area legislative leaders, including Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie.”

Ugaste has served as a Republican member of the Illinois State House since 2019 after being elected to represent the state’s 65th House District, succeeding Steven Andersson according to Ballotpedia.
