Central Community Unit School District 301 shared updates on upcoming school year preparations and student activities in a series of tweets posted between August 11 and August 12, 2025.
On August 11, the district reminded families about Chromebook pick-up for certain grade levels, stating: ” DON’T FORGET!! We’re at Prairie Knolls for one more hour until 7:00 pm tonight for Chromebook pick-up for ALL incoming 1st, 3rd, and 5th graders across Central 301. Big thanks to our NHS students for helping out & earning volunteer hours — they’re doing a great job! “
The following day, Central Community Unit School District 301 highlighted the start of fall sports practices. In an August 12 tweet, the district wrote: “The first week of fall sports practice is underway!
