Unpaid fines for North Aurora-based campaign committee totaled $16,550 in August 2018

One campaign committee in North Aurora has overdue fines amounting to a total of $16,550, records obtained by the Kane County Reporter show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Citizens for Christopher Faber was the only campaign committee in North Aurora that was delinquent in payment for August 2018, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The committee has been fined repeatedly for a late quarterly report.
