Katie Algrim has been hired as the director of innovative professional learning for the Kane County Regional Office of Education (ROE), according to a press release.
"We're excited to have Katie join our office and can't wait to see how she will help educators in Kane County best serve our students," Regional Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo said in a statement. "Katie will be pioneering a new online learning experience for the schools of Kane County and creating an online learning community that we know will be a benefit to educators."
Before joining the Kane County ROE, Algrim was assistant principal at DeKalb's Cortland Elementary School.
