The City of Geneva budget was $82.80 million for its 2015 fiscal year, or $11,776.94 per household.

That's a decrease of 4.1 percent from 2014, when the city spent $86.33 million, or $12,277.96 per household.

Geneva has 7,031 households and a population of 21,495.

Since 2001, the City of Geneva budget has grown by 18.5 percent, from $69.87 million. The city population has grown 10.1 percent over the same period, from 19,515.

Salaries accounted for 18.4 percent of city spending in 2015. Geneva property taxpayers paid $15.19 million for 143 full-time employees and 71 part-time employees.
