CALL TO ORDER AT 7:05PM – Lynette

BOARD REPORTS

Secretary’s Report

Motion to approve March 2017 Minutes: motion made by Steve Bell and seconded by Al Ochsner;

Motion passed

President’s Report – Lynette

• Addressing 501c3 vs. GCAC (see handout)

• How to proceed from here: stay under GCAC, become 501c3, or turn to a social club?

• Reviewed April 10th email from Jamie Heflin

• Discussed future Meeting Places & Shows

Motion to remain under the GCAC –

Motion made by Steve Bell and seconded by Pam Hamilton; All in favor, 4 Opposed, 0; Motion

passed

Next General Meeting –

• Vote at the general meeting for participants to remain “as is” part of the GCAC’s GGAC

committee; clarify the restructuring of our group with a full discussion

• If accepted by participants, begin planning events and creating new committees

Announce Upcoming Meeting Dates

Next general meeting, 7:00 pm, April 19, 2017, Geneva Library, downstairs meeting room

Next board meeting, 7:00 pm, May 10, 2017, Grahams 318, upstairs meeting room

Motion to return 2017 dues to GGAG paid-up participants –Motion made by Lorraine Ochsner

and seconded by Steve Bell; All in favor, 4 Opposed, 0; Motion passed

New Ideas – Steve

• Check with Geneva Library about possible group show

• Participate in “Decorated Bike” event (need to apply by April 15); 2 bikes

• Fire Hydrants “Art on Fire” (need to apply by May 12); recognize the artists who participate?
